The Middle East News Agency reported that the second batch of Palestinian prisoners released from Israeli occupation prisons tonight had already left the Israeli Ofer prison in the city of Beitunia, located west of Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate in the central occupied West Bank.
The exit of the 39 Palestinian prisoners came under a prisoner and detainee exchange deal as part of the humanitarian truce agreed upon for a period of 4 days under Egyptian-Qatari sponsorship.
According to the truce agreement, 50 women and children detainees from the occupation will be released, in exchange for the release of 150 women and children from the people of Palestine from the occupation prisons under the age of 19.
The truce also stipulated that air traffic in the south be completely halted for four days, while air traffic in the north will be halted for 6 hours a day from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. The truce also stipulates ensuring the freedom of movement of people and freedom from harm to them. Especially on Salah El-Din Street, where one can move from the north of the Strip to the south.
