Details of the killing of a general and several Israeli military ranks in Gaza within 24 hours
The Israeli occupation army revealed the killing of a reserve brigade and a soldier, along with several other ranks in Gaza
The dead were Staff Sergeant (Res.) Jonathan Malka, 23 years old, an armored soldier in the 82nd Battalion, who was killed in battle in the Gaza Strip, and Reserve Major General Yochai Gur Hirschberg (52 years old), commander of the Missing Persons Unit in the 98th Division, who was killed in a military vehicle accident in Gaza. Reserve Major General Adi Shani was also killed, along with a member of the 424th Battalion of the Givati Brigade, who was seriously wounded during a battle in the northern Gaza Strip.
Israel began carrying out a military operation on the Gaza Strip on October 7, following the Palestinian factions’ implementation of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, and the Israeli aggression has now entered its 61st day with the continuation of massacres and genocide in the areas north and south of the Strip following the violent and intense aerial bombardment by Israeli warplanes. The occupation intensified its raids on Several areas in northern Gaza, most notably Jabalia, where Blocks No. 2 and 5 were subjected to violent bombardment, resulting in 100 Palestinian martyrs, the majority of whom were children and women. The Palestinian factions killed 408 Israeli occupation soldiers. The Palestinian factions are engaged in clashes with the Israeli occupation army in the Al-Faluja area, west of Jabalia, in the northern Gaza Strip, while the Israeli occupation launches intense air strikes on Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, with attempts to advance eastward, with ground operations expanding in several axes.
This comes at a time when the Israeli army is seeking to kill the leader of one of the Palestinian factions, Yahya Al-Sinwar, whose birthplace is the Khan Yunis area, and the Israeli army is trying to enter it.
