This massacre resulted in at least 500 dead, who were turned into pieces when they were bombed by Israeli occupation aircraft. The Israeli forces had threatened to bomb hospitals in the Gaza Strip and requested their evacuation. The Baptist Hospital was considered a refuge for many residents of the Gaza Strip to protect themselves from the thousands of tons of explosives that were thrown over their heads every day.
