Common and Jennifer Hudson Spark Romance Rumors on Her Talk Show

The Chicago-born rapper and actor made an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Monday (Jan. 22), where the duo playfully bantered about their love lives.
During the show, Common surprised Hudson with a bouquet of flowers, leading to an intriguing exchange about their respective relationship statuses. Common humorously expressed that he is in a relationship with someone incredibly special, setting high standards for his partner, humorously noting her accomplishments, including having an EGOT, winning an Oscar on her first movie, and hosting her own talk show.
Flipping the conversation, Common inquired about Hudson's love life. The acclaimed singer and actress shared that she, too, is dating and is very content, though she stopped short of confirming the identity of her significant other. Common described his relationship as a "happy place" and emphasized how seeing his partner happy brings him joy.
Rumors of Common and the EGOT-winning Hudson's relationship trace back to July 2022, gaining momentum in January 2023 when the pair worked together as co-stars in the film "Breathe," portraying a married couple.
