Messi suspends Inter Miami until the end of the season
The American team, Inter Miami, received a strong blow, confirming the absence of its star player, Argentine Lionel Messi, until the end of the current season 2023-2024, due to injury.
American journalist Caden DeLisa, who is interested in Inter Miami news, said through his account on the social networking site “X” that Lionel Messi will miss Inter Miami until the end of the current season, due to his suffering from a severe hamstring injury.
DeLisa wrote in his tweet: “A source confirmed to us that Messi suffers from a 2 cm deep tear in his hamstring, confirmed by an MRI, which will likely make him miss the end of the season.”
He added: “He suffered this injury during the match between Argentina and Ecuador in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, before it worsened against Toronto.”
