The Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the sanctity of Palestinian higher education institutions in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian News Agency “Wafa”. A short while ago, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the campus of Palestine Technical University, known as Kadoorie University, in Tulkarm in the West Bank, and raided the automotive engineering laboratories and workshops, the former energy building, and vandalized its property, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education. The occupation forces also stormed the branch of Al-Quds Open University in Gaza, and demolished parts of its buildings, in addition to bombing Al-Azhar and Islamic universities earlier, and also continuing arrest campaigns against students and professors of Palestinian educational institutions. The Ministry of Higher Education confirmed that the occupation continues to violate and ignore all international conventions, laws and norms that criminalize violating the sanctity of educational institutions and assaulting them.
