Prelanty amer: he only carried an electronic smoking device

Brenti Amer, the ex-wife of the artist Saad El-Soghayar, posted a video on her personal social media account expressing her strong displeasure with the accusations directed at her ex-husband.

El-Soghayar's ex-wife confirmed that he is not capable of committing such actions, stating that he only carried an electronic smoking device, along with some e-liquid, but she completely denied any knowledge of him having any drugs in his possession. She said, "99% of the people talking about what is halal and haram do not understand anything. May God be with you, Saad, you are a good man who has opened many houses."

She continued, "I am completely convinced that this accusation against Saad was fabricated, and I am ready to provide any evidence that supports his innocence."

The Egyptian Customs Authority had announced the seizure of a quantity of hashish hidden inside an electronic smoking device in the possession of the artist during his return from one of the Arab countries. The necessary legal measures were taken against him, and he was detained pending the investigations.
